Spring / Summer 2006

Utterly wearable, yet sure to spark conversation, Rebecca Thompson's Spring/Summer 2006 range features juicy hues that seem to have jumped off a 1950's postcard. Cameo pink, melon, skyway blue, apple, stone and picnic cherry gingham round out the palette of a range that is primarily rooted in natural silks and textured cottons.

Show stopping elements of shirring, smocking, pintucking, nostalgic rick-rack and imported lace also make an appearance, as do the traditional skills of village artisans. Precious metals in the form of hand-sewn silver plated charms adorn halter neck dresses, while wallpaper-print frocks and skirts answer the everyday prayers of "what will I wear?".
